I've had Jesus in my heart all my life, thanks to my fantastic family. Jesus has helped my family out in numerous ways and it is amazing to see the miracles He has given us. It is truly through family events that I have felt called to follow Jesus as a religious. I first felt the call about 4 years ago and I began to investigate what religious life was all about. As I began speaking with Sisters and visiting Communities, I felt very eager to enter an Order. The call was strong.

The summer of 2002, at World Youth Day, the conviction became even stronger! It was truly amazing to see all the religious Orders that were represented. I was prepared to apply and enter another Order, when something was drawing me to visit one more Community, the Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate. What I found there I had not experienced before. They were in full habit and truly devoted every minute of their life to God. They live their vows in a positive way and live in community. I visited with them a few times, applied, and with a heart full of gratitude to God, entered on September 8th, 2003, Our Lady's birthday!

I am so happy to have found my place with God. If you feel the call to follow Jesus as His spouse, follow your heart. Speak to your priest and start talking to Sisters. Never give up and always remember, Jesus is Awesome!
